professional, and has one the nicest boats around.

english beer afterwards. My friend who owned the Garbi Café
near the port, called it South Bronx, for some strange
reason. She has left the place, unfortunately.

feld to the Cote d'Azur, because everything was inundated.

externa)

Went to L'Estartit a number of years. Went with Peter Lane
http://www.grn.es/calypso. Good diving around the Medas Islands which are a
nature reserve. Big Groupers and other sea life and plants around and only a
short trip from the main harbour. I enjoyed my time there but became a
little frustrated that we kept going back to the same sites around the
islands because we were either restricted both by the experience of the
divers we had onboard or which sites the boats were allocated to.

L'Estartit is a friendly tapas orientated town especially if you know a
little Spanish but doesn't matter if you are a normal Brit, knowing nothing!

First time we went there over Easter. It was quite cold. Weather quite
stormy. Sea temp 13 degrees. May was wonderful. October and November they
told me much quieter.

Taxi from Gerona to Estartit is easier but a little expensive. Calypso
diving organised this for me. Caravan parks closed until May?? Thompson??
Holidays organise trips to the holiday apartment next to Calypso diving I
believe.

Be ready for many French divers, especially over their bank holidays.

Hope to go back next year.

You will need a dive medical which is valid within the last two years. That
being said I met a group which had a cheap medical organised out there on
arrival.

The last time I went via Ryan from Bournemouth. Never again!
