There is some diving in Torrevieja but it's not very good. However, La
Manga is pretty close down the autovia and that's alway empty because the
Spanish won't pay the tolls.

There's a marine park down there around the Islas Hormigas. You'll see
loads of grouper, morays plus there's some wrecks too.

Have a look at http://www.diving-consultants.com/

First of all, Iīm spanish and itīs not true we donīt want pay tolls it
becouse we got spare ways to go but foreings donīt know those. Well jokes
to other side, the place is not exactly "la Manga" that is really very
close to " Cabo de Palos" . La Manga have nothing to see, and the best
diving centers are at "Cabo de Palos"port ,where the dives you can have are
up of your diving level, there are a wide offert at diferents depths. Other
side you can go to "Santa Pola" hot far from Torrevieja and go to " isla de
Tabarca" ( =Tabarca island) where is another national marine park but no so
well that "cabo de Palos". Nice dives and sorry the way joke.
