Good for you, Conor. You saw through that rubbish that old poseur Greg
Mossman was dishing out as fact. He is your quintessential usenet SCUBA
expert and knows relatively little first hand information that would be
of value for the novice.

I can think of nothing better than to be reading PADI/SSI/NAUI manuals
and doing all of the pre-study whilst on the beach during a holiday.
They are available in Irish, I believe.
