It cost more than others but it is worth it. The food is "5 star".... The beach is sand and coconuts... The diving can't be beat..... I have been to a lot of places but never found one I liked more than Anse Chastenet. I just can't afford to go there while I can afford the ABC Islands. It really is a honeymoon place, you WILL see a lot of people on their honeymoon.. |

| Anse Chatenet is a lovely place. It is much like what I imagine the Carribean was like before WWII. There are only two negatives: No A/C. Many steps up and down the hillside. Personally, I can deal with the steps. No A/C would discourage me from going in the hotter time of the year. As for the rooms down by the beach -- When I was there they were the less costly rooms due to having more bugs and less breezes. I would ask for a room high up with a view of the Pitons (mountains).
