Default St Lucia Recommendations

Planning to visit this island in April.

Was wondering if anyone could recommend a dive operator and place to stay?

Thanks

Ralph

Try Anse Chastenet. They are on the web. Give them a look see.We loved
it there. They are a fabulous hotel, great food and dive operation.
Great for couples very romantic.

I have been there too. It's a "top of the line" place.
Ask for cabin 11, it's down by the water. It cost more
than others but it is worth it.
The food is "5 star"....
The beach is sand and coconuts...
The diving can't be beat.....
I have been to a lot of places but never found one
I liked more than Anse Chastenet. I just can't afford
to go there while I can afford the ABC Islands.

It really is a honeymoon place, you WILL see a lot
of people on their honeymoon..

Anse Chatenet is a lovely place.
It is much like what I imagine the Carribean was like before WWII.

There are only two negatives: No A/C. Many steps up and down the hillside.
Personally, I can deal with the steps.
No A/C would discourage me from going in the hotter time of the year.

As for the rooms down by the beach -- When I was there they were the
less costly rooms due to having more bugs and less breezes. I would ask
for a room high up with a view of the Pitons (mountains).
