I once dove around the Pitons and on the dive, discovered that there
were "underwater" pitons, minatures of the larger ones. Rather
colorful.

However, diving on that outer fringe where the Caribbean meets the
Atlantic -- the diving can be somewhat weak. I understand that there
are a scattered few really good dive sites off St. Lucia but you would
need a dive charger boat to connect them (they are so few), providing
that the skipper knew where they were.

Someone once corrected that assumption and said that what was needed was
a charter boat that could connect both St. Lucia and St. Vincent on a
10-day trip since the two together would only add up to something worth
while to do and even then it wouldn't be all that special.

A few years ago I dove Anse Chastanet with Scuba St Lucia and has a
wonderful dive. I was on a cruise and they met us at the cruise pier
with a small boat with 2 massive outboard engines on it. I think it
was the boat driver, the divemaster and me and my buddy and that was
it. Great experience.

Best Regards,
