"KV" <kvaughn3@verizon.net> pounded away at his keyboard resulting in:
:Can anyone recommend lodging in St. Lucia and a dive operator? I haven't
:looked deeply yet, I imagine there are not a lot of operators, but I would
:like one that visits more "advanced" sites. Thanks for any tips you can
:give.

Not sure what you mean by advanced. One of the more popular dive
areas in St Lucia in the Soufriere Marine Management Area. The diving
there is regulated. Thou must have a guide, etc.

I stayed at Anse Chastenet and dove with Scuba St Lucia when I went
there. Trip report is here

Have also stayed at Anse Chastenet and dived with them - a few years earlier
tho I think.
I get the impression from the brochures that Anse Chastenet has moved quite
a lot upmarket - at least in terms of price.
When we were there, the shore diving was very good as well as the boat
diving.
