I'd bet the pictures don't do the situation justice. I know that no pictures of what Wilma did to S. Florida that I've seen adequately represent the full extent of the impact. Lee |

Can't you have a Technical Knock Out by unanimous decision? Can you believe this guy? He's picking apart a letter from a guy that lived it. Not to mention that Dale doesn't post here or even know that rec.scuba.locations exists. But hey, I'll be sure to pass along Reef's nitpicking remarks . . .not. |

Hurricane Wilma must have devastated all the KILLFILES in rec.scuba.locations! LOL! I think I had about half a dozen folks who repeatedly bragged that they had me in their killfiles -- Lee and chilly. Now they are BOTH here. The devastation of Wilma was even more severe than I thought. I had already acknowledged that it was intended to be a nitpick, RF> A couple of nitpicks are in order. because ... RF> I am killing some time at the LAX President's Club waiting RF> to be taken to the 80+ degree weather of Hawaii for a few days! > Can you believe this guy? He's picking apart a letter from a guy that > lived it. Just because he lived through it doesn't mean his INFO was accurate or even useful. Relative to THAT, here was the INFO I gave, > Puerto Maya cruise ship pier is gone, RF> Puerta Maya. Only partially blown away. RF> http://dive.scubadiving.com/members/...ies.php?s=8185 RF> There's a thread of 32 posts (since Oct 25) about these pics in RF> rec.travel.cruises. > We had very little information on the Storm, where it went and how much > damage it caused elsewhere > But now that we are back on line, will find out. RF> How true! Those of us who are NOT in the storm, but had plenty of time RF> to kill on line, have a MUCH better global view of the hurricane as RF> well as detailed descriptions and pictures of the damages at various RF> affected locations around Cozumel/Cancun. If chilly had left my post alone as she should've, I wouldn't need to explain the above or to add that she SHOULD have left the gossip (and NON INFO) remarks from her friend Dale to her PRIVATE email, and let the newsgroup folks post and read the REAL info. Aloha from sunny Waikiki, -- Bob. |
