| I just caught a preview of this weeks Discovery Channel's Myth Busters and what caught my eye was where they show what happens when you shoot a scuba tank in a sharks mouth (the end of Jaws) . In the clip I saw they stuffed it in the mouth of a fake (foam I think) shark and shot the tank. Pretty much did what I expected it to do ... While the ending of Jaws was pretty dramatic (for a 70's movie) I was kind of impressed with the tank doing its best impression of a balloon. other items they"test" are colors, punching a shark in the nose etc. may not be the most scientific study I've seen ... but it does look to be entertaining Discovery Channel MythBusters - Jaws Special Jul 18 2005 (midnight) Jul 20 2005 @ 09:00 PM Jul 21 2005 midnight Jul 23 2005 @ 04:00 PM http://dsc.discovery.com/convergence...sharkweek.html - Ed |

He was in the water with an interviewer showing how it was safe to be in the water with the sharks swimming around. While statistically correct saying sharks don't generally attack man, his missing calf should convince even the skeptics that sharks do indeed attack. |
