Default OT:Hurricane Wilma

Appears to be beating the hell out Cozumel and the Yucatan Peninsula.
Hope all of you in Florida are prepared and come thru unscathed.

I would imagine with the front edge of the hurricane pushing the water
generally North to South in the Cozumel channel that the visibility will
be stirred up for the foreseeable future

Good Luck Floridians

Some interesting data on one of the buoys in that area.

http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=42056

When I just checked, the wave were 27+ ft, however it had recorded them
at 35+ feet earlier. Barometric pressure was 29.40".

I'm sure suds will be offended at such an obscenity.

Not the injured and defiant Marine, but his terribly anti-social behavior
after being blown up.

That would never fly with the other ladies at tea.

Only "just responding" again, eh? Snort.

In any event, my friends are a fine upstanding Canadian couple that own a
B&B on Coz. So far, they've weathered every hurricane that has come at
them, including having to host me during Mitch.

I fear for them more this time, than any other.
