Default Thailand for diving?

I'm looking for recommendations of where to dive in Thailand, have PADI OPW
from Kenya, now have the bug and want more.
Any suggestions?

There are many diveshops in Phuket offering everything from daytrips to 12
day liveaboard trips. Because of the monsoon season there is very little
diving from the end of May to the beginning of November.

Hi Jules the key question is when you are going as you'll want to
avoid the wet season. There are some really good dives off Phuket.
Shark Point, Anamone reef, Koh Bida Nok off PhiPhi, you can even do
day trips to the Similans and be back to the huge choice of
restaurants at night.
The best time to go is from December until the end of March when you
should have wonderful conditions.
Hope this helps but if you have any more specific questions, just ask.
Mike

Depends where you want to dive...

Koh Tao the conditions are best from March Through to September/October.

Burma Banks are rockin' as are the similians but less so.

Whale shark season is April and August.

If you want to dive on Koh Tao give drop me a line and I'll get you a good
deal on the diving (i.e. 15 dollars per dive including equipment, boat and
small groups)
