| Hi Nick, This is a mail I received from Seadragon yesterday: ------- From: Sea Dragon Dive Center To: Thierry Decoussemaeker Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2005 2:02 PM Subject: Your booking with Sea Dragon 11 Jan, 2005 Dear Thierry, We were all very lucky here at Sea Dragon and as you might have seen on our website, all Sea Dragon's staff, boats, boat crew and office were miraculously saved. After a week of trauma and heartbreak, we are now trying to reorganise ourselves a little, and our long term plan is to remain in Khao Lak and hopefully contribute to rebuilding the community and local area. Our Thai staff and other local people are now returning and are anxiously discussing their future. If Sea Dragon can continue to operate, we will be helping them to secure a future for themselves and their families. Our hope is to start running trips again from the 11th of January and therefore we are now asking you if you would still like to join us on the trip that you were booked on. The booking was for the Andaman (4d/4n), departing on the 11th of January. Please revert to us as soon as possible if you would like to keep your booking as the best support we can receive is for you to continue diving with us. With so many loyal return customers, we can begin to reassure the local people that a future here is not unimaginable. If you decide to come out with us we recommend that you arrange accommodation in Phuket and we will arrange transfer for you from Phuket to the boat on the day of departure. We are sorry that we haven't been able to get back to you any sooner, but communications have been down since the tidal wave hit and we still have no phone lines in Khao Lak. With kind regards, Rebecka Isaksson |
