From Ao Nang, you can easily dive Ko Phi Phi.

From Ao Nang, you can easily dive Ko Phi Phi.

Ko Phi Phi was of course very seriously affected by the tragic tsunami
in 2004...

I stayed on Phi Phi in 2003 but in the "Natural Resort" hotel which was
a boat ride out of the main town and which had a small dive operation
oin the beach just outside the hotel. That part of the island was
unaffected and was much less busy with trial dives so could be worth a
look.
