Default DM Internship on Koh Tao

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to head over to Koh Tao at the end of November for six months. I want to spend the first three (at least) on a DM internship (going from a complete beginner). I’ve searched through all the previous threads to see who people have recommended. The two that kept popping up were Asia Divers and Buddha View.

Has anyone done a DM internship with either of these schools? Or anywhere else on the island for that matter?

Obviously I’m looking for a high standard of training, possibly receiving a little more personal attention that you might get at some of the bigger places…but I’m also keen to find somewhere that’s socially a pretty cool place to be part of.

I’d love to hear your thoughts or recommendations.

Cheers

hi, if you want more personal attention then go with one of the slightly smaller companies, you can get lost in the groups with the larger shops such as Samui International and Easy Divers - however, Buddah View are a good company.

I did my diving with a company based on Samui but diving on their boat in Koh Tao, very small so totally one on one and left feeling I had achieved the best I could, but you do get the trips from Samui to Tao (1 1/2 hourse) although they had live-aboard so we stayed on the boat alot. Contact was info@a-seadivers.com - they can give you lots of advice on all your options not just them... have a great time and enjoy!!
