If you are flexible and have a couple of days free, shop around in Phuket.
Best to do your research before hand though, find out days of departure and
trip quality and then hit the operators that interest you.

I paid less than half the published rate for a trip that I did 2 years
ago....sorry, I can't remember the name of the company.
