| Plymouth neck-of-the woods, you also have the Kanteong (a tin dredger, great for penetration) in 14m off Fowey, the Rosehill (30m), Zanussi Reef (16m), The Rannies (10m), Udder Rock (25-8m). This gives you a range of depths and dive types for differing certification levels. Try contacting Looe Divers (www.looedivers.com) or Deep Blue Diving (www.deepbluediving.org) for a few other ideas and for info on likely weather. |

| I'm looking into a trip for my club in mid November. We're looking at Portland and Plymouth. Absolute max depth 30m, ideally 20m or less (but we'd do e.g. the Persier) What are the conditions likely to be like in November? Which are we more likely to get good conditions at? Which has a better choice of bad weather sites? Any comments appreciated Stuart Moore |
