Hi, yes, we were I think within an hour of high water and my log book for
3rd April says it was a neap - my computer says we entered the water at
13:05.

My strong impression was that the entry point was the only *expected* exit
point. We didn't find this to be any sort of problem though. You have to
get up the steps one at a time and you need to be able to take your fins off
in the water at the bottom of the steps, but with care it's not an issue.
At the top of the steps there is a chain between posts about knee high which
you need to be able to step over.

To the south you would need to round the point before you could find another
point to exit the water; this would be a scramble up a rocky shoreline maybe
(guesstimate) 100m round the corner. You walk along past this area as you
approach the dive site. To the North I wasn't aware of any place within
reasonable strking distance where you could exit the water and you would
certainly have a long walk to get back to your car.

Why not post this as a new thread and see if there are any local divers who
can give you better information. Could be that an old thread entitled
'Bovisand' is not catching their eye.

All the best,

M.
