Who makes the best digital photo equip. for underwater work?

I would prefer a camera that does not require a waterproof case. And it only has to be waterproof to 90m.

No such thing anymore. Nikonos V and the Nikonos RS were the last underwater cameras that could go to that depth. Now everything goes in a housing. The Seapix will go underwater without a housing but only to snorkelling depths, it needs a housing to go deeper.

For me, Canon SLR is the best. You will obviously need a housing and strobes but you will be amazed at the quality of your photographs.

I'm using a Canon 20D with Sea and Sea strobes. I'm a little bored with Macro at the moment so I'm using a 28mm Wide Angle. The colour saturation that I am getting is quite remarkable. I will upload some photo's soon.

For photo editing, there is no better software than Adobe Lightroom. Fantastic software.

I am no professional photographer, but with my setup I truly have taken some incredible shots underwater.
