Indeed. Any buddy signalling me by blinding me will get a slap once I could
see again! Could be of use in low vis as I guess the beam would travel
further than a torch light and be seen as a line with the detritus in the
water thus pointing back to the person using it, or away if you get the
wrong end . Bit gimmicky in my view though.

I have been after a laser for use on the camera as a pointer. Has anyone had
any dealings with the company selling them: Bluesky Marketing?

Cliff.

I have been using one as a pointer for a flash gun for years. Great tool
that gets taped onto the flash. Helps when using autofocus as they us IR as
well

As to value as a pointer, debatable as you say not the sort of thing I want
pointed in my eye.

Green would be better - much more powerful, although also unsurprisingly
much more expensive. I'd be surprised if the red laser penetrated much more
than a metre or two in bad viz.

Cliff
Bluesky - Thats me !! !! has been selling on the Net for around 6/7 years
if you pop into alt.lasers newsgroup ,someone in there should Vouch for me
as I have
been hanging around there for years

The Scuba lasers is a new line for me so I cant say a lot about them as i
bought them in without
seeing a sample from a reliable quality manufactuer i have used before.

I have seen the same models elsewhere before for three times the price so i
presume they will be of
great quality , the other Items the Company makes are great quality.

You can help me if you wish , visit one of my sites and contact me direct
via the FAQ pages and I
will send you a sample on trial , you can give an honest opion to your
freinds and
collegues in this newsgroup and simply return or pay the Invoice.

Someone mentioned Green Laser would be better and that would be the case in
normal lasers
but unsure under water , the comapny do make them but the RRP is almost £200
so
I did not purchase any Green Scuba Lasers until I have carved myself a
little niche
market in Scuba lasers but if anyone here really would like a green one
Stand up
and be counted and I shall look into it for you.

Also can anybody recommed a popular Scuba magazine that I could consider
advertising in ? ? ?

and last but not least ....... Looks like my delivery may be coming early so
half
price offer may end later this week !! Get in there QUICK !!
