Default Britannia Lost my kit

What was meant to be a pleasurable weeks diving on the Zenobia turned into a
bloody nightmare when somebody at Bristol airport decided to send my divekit
to Faro instead of Larnaca after spending my holiday using hire kit and
being told by lost property "it will be here tomorrow" I'm about to lose the
plot ! 9 days later I'm still awaiting the return of my gear ! Has anyone
else encountered this kind of incompetence with airlines, why couldn't they
have lost the case with the missus frillies in?
