Can't remember the last boat I had to show a C Card to get on. In this
country anyhow.

I rather think that most skippers can take a 15 second glance at
someone handling their kit and work out if they know what they're
doing or not.

Doubt it. Don't know if Chris has decided who's on what boat anyway.
They've never asked me for a C-card.

Very much doubt it, I've never been asked for any sort of proof that I'm a
diver at all, or any sort of proof that I've got a nitrox/trimix ticket
when I've gotten cylinders filled... and _we_ certainly don't want to see
your log book.

Seems a bit unlikely...

Anyway, bugger loosing it, I don't even _have_ a log book. Haven't kept
one in years, don't see the point.

The point being C card was _IN_ the log book that's all,
lol, I wouldn't show you my log book if you asked anyway :-p

Grief...

Nice timing though....

I had seen some silly website that offered to archive your qualifications
so you could be traced if you lost then en-route to some dive destination.
They wanted money. When I picked myself up from ROTFL mode I thought *I
could do that* and stuffed everything on the scanner and put it on an
unlinked web-page.

Sheesh but I've got a lot of cards.

Then I come back to ukrs and find this thread in progress.

Is there something going on I don't know about?
Are you lot messing with my head?

You're not paranoid if they really are out to get you.
