Default US Divers SE3 Regulator use in cold water(Scotland)?

A friend purchased the following equipment whilst on assignment in
Saudi Arabia.
Wants to know if he can use them for diving in scotland year round. Us
divers and seaquest web sites dont give any technical information.

The equipment is
US Divers SE3 Regulator and first Stage came as a unit. A Seaquest
Mirage as his octopus.

regards Richard
