| I have just come back from a LDS and I think I have seen the dumbest piece of kit ever (yes, even dumber than the HUB). Wait for it.... It was a 3ltr cylinder banded together with another 3ltr cylinder, manifolded with a straight through bar and only one valve. This can be yours for the bargain price of £199. Still, I couldn't help thinking that there was far too much fresh air between the cylinders. I think it needs, oh I don't know, kind of something cylindrical in shape about the diameter of a 12ltr, half the height of a 3ltr with some hoses coming out of the top. Oh an the valve isolation was set at right angles to the outlet. What all that about? Oh, so the RB divers can have manifolded bottles too! If I've pictured it correctly, it's a military setup of some sort. Normally mounted upside down (a'la Nigel) You have the isolator closed and breathe from it until the tank is sucked dry, then you open the isolator to equalise both cylinders and close it again, then breathe it dry, then open it again, leave it open and surface. No pressure gauge required, and as long as it was filled correctly, and you don't forget the close the isolator (and count the number of open/closes!) you'll be "just fine" ... Gordon |

Pictured incorrectly. Manifold is straight through, one of the valves is not a valve, it's probably best described as an elbow joint, >No pressure gauge required, and as long as it was filled correctly, >and you don't forget the close the isolator (and count the number of >open/closes!) you'll be "just fine" ... There is something very British about this approach. I quite like it, it makes sense. Looked like it may have been something ex fire brigade, or possibly an escape set. Well at least they did stick it next to the HUB. Barry |

| Well did they at least use 2 front mounted 2ltr decocylinders for decostop or techlook.
