Default What on earth is this?

On a recent trip to the Red Sea I took this picture at Ras Nasrani.
Anyone have a clue what this is?

As you can see on the picture there is a hole (+- 2cm wide) with
these white "strings" coming out of it. These "strings" ran out for
+- 1 to 2 meters in lenght.

Link to picture: (Hope it works!)

If that photo had been taken in th UK, I'd say it was a strawberry worm --
I'd assume it is something similar...

I think the common name for it is Spaghetti worm, the latin name escapes me
at the moment.
I used to keep marine inverts from various geographical locations, and these
worms would arrive on the live rock that was imported.
The 'threads' are it's feeding appendages that are sticky and collect food
that drifts past, it's then passed back down to a central mouth.
The main part of the worm is burried in a hole inside the rock.

Looks like a Spaghetti worm. Phylum Annelida, Family Terebellidae.
See this article for some info and what they used to do with them in Hawaii
