| I récent downloaded the Suunto Dive Manager software but It will not connect to my Suunto dive computer. It has worked in the past but I suffred a PC crash some months back and have only just got back to reinstalling the software. The cable seems ok and the USB ports are working for other items, camera, phone etc. I can only assume I need some form of down load to make it all work again? I am using MS Windows XP Home edition Thanks Thanks |

If that does not help the next logical step would be to remove and reinstall the DM software. Good luck Gary |

With the help of Suunto in Finland I tried several of the 2.xx versions and none worked, so in the end they sent me an old version (1.6 I believe) which worked. I have heard several stories of a similar nature about the 2.xx versions. Cliff. |

| Hi, Which dive computer have you got? Which version of dive manager is it? You might be as best to go to the following page: http://www.suunto.com/suunto/main/ar...2075750152 40 and download the latest version that will work on your dive computer and the usb driver (you want the Suunto USB drivers 32-bit Win2000/XP/ Vista For Suunto t6, G6, X9i, Dive Computers). | Don't know if this is any use... I'm using version 2.3.0 with a Vyper, and Windows XP Pro, and reconnected it the other day after some months. The download wizard persistently failed to find the computer, though I knew I'd downloaded stuff before. Now I seem to have it licked - what might be making the difference is selecting TR-PC mode on the Vyper (Mode/Memory/TR_PC - and remembering to actually select that mode, not just navigate to it). At first I managed to connect by right-clicking on the computer in the Dive Computer window on the left of SDM, selecting 'connect' and then 'Vyper', then following instructions. It worked, when the download wizard didn't, but does then download every dive on the computer - which means if you've amended any dive times in SDM it'll treat the originals as new dives, which you then have to delete. Now it seems to be ok with the download wizard, enabling me to select which dives I want to download.
