Default Ideas for a Far East Dive trip

http://www.starfish.ch/dive/Malaysia-info.html
In Malaysia, you can try Tioman or go up further to the Terengganu
which has a few beautiful islands. Redang is catered to medium-priced
resort. Perhentian is catered to backpackers. There are also smaller
islands such as Kapas, Tengah, etc. The best time to dive in this area
is from March to October.

If you have extra time, then fly to Tawau in Borneo, get to Semporna
which is jump off point to Sipadan. You can also dive around the
Semporna marine park for a less expensive price than Sipadan.

Air Asia fly from KL to Tawau for a low budget airfares:

Hi all,

Hope you can help me. A friend of mine, no really, has been to all the
usual
places, Red Sea, Thailand, Cuba, Maldives and a few others and is now
looking at Vietnam or around Malaysia.

Has anyone any good ideas of:
a) Where to go.
b) Recommendations of who to go with.

Unfortunately it is not me as the most exotic place I have been is
Oban,
which was bloody good though but not that warm))

Thanks in advance.

Bari Pollard.

We are planning a fortnight-long trip to Chuuk (formerly Truk Lagoon)
in february 2005, taking off from Amsterdam (Schiphol) airport.
It will take us some time yet to get things organised, and we are
still on the lookout for buddies to join us.

BTW to my knowledge, there are no travel agencies catering for
such an "expedition" departing from continental Europe.
The flight will probably take us from Schiphol to Manila, over Guam,
to finally land at Weno Island, Chuuk International Airport

Thought you'd like us to keep you posted?
