Default Weight of BCD

Anyone know of a list of the weight of BCDs (useful consideration when
traveling)

I.e a mares vector is light, compared to a Oceanic Chute - but what is the
difference?

No idea, but my Cressi S111 is like a (very big and heavy) brick out of the
water! On the other hand, its very very floaty (and unbricklike) in the
water... :o)

To be honest, i think you'd just have to compare the ones you're interested
in. There may be a list somewhere, but i've never seen one so if it does
exist its well hidden! I was interested in the weight of mine (after I
bought it and noticed how heavy it seemed) but haven't found anywhere that
gives that info - and I don't have any scales until I get home (from Uni -
at Christmas).

You are prob right. Just imagined that it would be listed in the tech specs
of the brochures - however it isnt!

Yeah - I expected to be able to find it when I started looking, but they're
nowhere to be seen. I suppose if they had anything it'd be bouyancy when
empty or something, but still that doesn't matter to most people - just add
more weight.
If there was a specific review about "holiday BCDs" or something it probaby
would be mentioned in there, but then that would only look at the
lightweight ones anyway.

Not very helpful, but if you go to a online shopping site such as scubastore
delivery is calculated according to weight, so you have so idea.

Buddy Commando is 3400g without the inflater bottle, if that helps.
Recently took mine on holiday.
