Default Dive Insurance

Hi Group,

Finally, I have a question!

Off to Sharm in December for a realxing week-long break after slogging it in
British waters all summer
Need insurance for myself & partner. However, it occured to me that it would
be worth taking out a yearly policy if it covered myself and a buddy for the
holiday, and would also cover me for next summer in the UK.

Any suggestions? Either good or bad...

TIA

Scubatricky

Well DAN would seem to be one to rule out straight away! ;)

Very funny!

I really didn't expect that to be mentioned, but then you go and surprise
everyone by stating the obvious.

OK, I'll steer clear of DAN.

Unless I ensure that my calls are logged, and all correspondance goes by
registered post etc.

Westfield are good and reasonably priced.
See http://www.divernet.com/westfield

No, that won't do. Get a JP to keep a copy of the letters.

I used www.scubasure.co.uk, have always found them to be very helpful with a
comprehensive policy for divers (rather than just "allow" diving)

Others that spring to mind are, Westfield DiveMaster, and Buddyindepth

Visit: www.direct-travel.co.uk but read small print to see if is applicable
to you.

Try Columbus. Annual family insurance including me to 50m and my daughter to
30m costs £120.
