Default diving around Torquay-any operators?

I am hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone and visit freinds in
Torquay and also get some dives in in a couple of weeks. Does anyone
know of any outfits who operate at thos time of year and more
importantly whats the diving like there at present? Any info would be
useful

Not *exactly* Torquay but quite close. Very nice people, cater for all
abilities.

Plymouth's only 1/2 hour down the road from Torquay.
I can't tell you what the diving's like here atm - I'm going to be doing my
first UK diving shortly, as I've only finished OW last month.

You could try Chris Yates who runs a 10.5m RIB with twin 300hp turbodiesel
inboards and a very nice canopy to keep the horrid wind and spray water out
of your face. I'm not sure whether he's operating at this time of year but
my money's on "yes".

Call him on 07796-545796 and say hello from me.

R.

PS. When will you be down there. I'll be down there myself on the 22nd/23rd
November. I can recommend a B&B if you need one.

Depends upon wind direction. The area has East,South and West facing coasts,
result being that all but a massive hooley will leave something diveable.
Local dive shops will be able to tell you what is good in what conditions.
