Default decompression stops - pyle stops

ive been looking for online information about stops and dcs but Ive found
very few good links
I read quite allot from Richard pyle, has anyone got a link or too I could
look at just trying to improve my
understanding of why I got a cramp in my knee last time I surfaced too

If it was a cramp, no. If anything, cramps tend to be related to excess CO2
in the system rather than nitrogen. CO2 retention tends to be more related
to breathing patterns than to deep stops.

Many good links at cisatlantic.

http://www.cisatlantic.com/trimix/tools.htm

Most of these links point to work by Eric Baker.

Cheers
Matt.

Be careful how you apply this stuff. Be sure to confirm things
independently. For example, while I'm no expert on the subject, I have
doubts about Jim Bembanaste's excellent Best Mix reference chart . I did
not confirm the O2 and Air data, but I did check the He data. The tables is
based on ideal gas laws, even at pressures where they begin to break down.
The pressure for He at the table's maximum pressure of 3,800 psi, is a
simple percentage of the total. As I recall, the relative compressability
of gases becomes significant at pressures somewhere with this range.
