The best way to find out is to take your camera on a dive - if the photos come out then you don't need a housing. If they don't then you'll need an enclosure... |

| Leicaaddict@uwphotographer.net (Leicaddict) pounded away at his keyboard resulting in: :Hi. I want to buy a camera for underwater photography when I dive. Any :suggestions? Is 35mm OK for this? Would I need special housing for the :camera? Go digital. Check out the SeaLife Reefmaster. Good piece of kit. I have one of their original digital cameras, the 1.3 megapixel version. The cameras are even better now and the housings, strobes, etc were always good. Dan Bracuk If at first you don't succeed, you run the risk of failure. Next thing will be to get a strobe. Nic. |

Except, of course, the front shutter that turns it off so it sits there and slowly times out and when you push something when it goes through its start up sequence before being ready. The battery is always flat after a day's diving. Also I have lots of good pictures of the inside of my goodie bag as I seal the case shut before going near a RIB and the shutter is a bit vulnerable. Either way I much prefer the mju400 to the old MX10. nigelH <headers trimmed> |
