Delete logs from aladin pro dive computer

I am acquiring a second hand aladin pro nitrox dive computer.

I would like to know how I can delete the previous owners logged dives. Is
there a way of resetting the computer?

No. (Or at least no documented way).

The first time you download to your PC, delete all the previous owner's
dives, then you'll never see them again.

If you haven't got a PC, just do 19 dives and they'll overwrite the previous
owner's dives.

Just dive as much as you can... Soon all the dives in the computer will be
yours!

IIRC it doesn't hold the information about a dive unless you hit something
like 3 metres.

Knot sow. Just been for a dip in me local pool & to show how truly sad I am,
I chucked me Aladin Pro in at the shallow end - I now have a 1.4 metre dive
logged for 6 mins. Just to prove I'm not a *COMPLEAT* (sic) anorak
(honest!), I didn't test to find out exactly what depth will suffice. It
will require a min. dive time of 2 minutes before it starts to record the
dive though - and a surface interval of 5 mins before it logs it, so it
would be quite a lengthy process |-O
