Default Internet divebook

Your divebook follows you everywhere!
From a Web interface upload your divings from the diving computer to
the web, add photographs, view the profiles, or send the diving by
email to a friend. Bonus : dive sort and seek.

If it could follow me down to 45m I'd be impressed!

I put an IPAQ in an old Ikelite camera case but never
managed a pen linkage that worked for a whole dive.

I can't get an internet connection much south of Hurdgarda
so it's not going to help my holiday. Anyway the log book
is on the laptop I need to get on the web anyway.

Then again who wants to put up a public internet log book
when you have to compete with Jason?

Jason on Cairns WA: It was quite depressing how the sites
had degraded since...

Nigel on Brighton Pier: about as silty as last time
and the tide was running like a train so...

You can get "water proof" cases for iPAQ's now, not sure how water
proof is "water proof" though.

Humm...
Mine goes in a freezer bag with a tie at the top
if it's only going out on the RIB. It only goes
in the camera case if it's diving. Touch screens
and big strong cases just don't match.

Never heard of water cooling? Doesn't need sealing, just dunk it in - it'll
be lovely and cool, if not entirely functional... :o\
