How busy is stoney on weekends at the moment?

Is sat or sun quieter?

What time at the latest to get to the bottom carpark?

Can we answer this one with the theory of universal expansion?

Depends on whether you live in an open, closed or flat universe.

Dunno

Never been brave enough to go at weekends.........
Water's too cold at weekends. They turn the heaters on through the week and
have theme days:

Mild Monday
Tepid Tuesday
Warm Wednesday
Toasty Thursday
Firey Friday

Then its Six oclock start Saturday
and finally
Six oclock aint good enough - lets make it five on Sunday

Sorry, doing night shift at the mo, got to amuse myself somehow

Alex

Well my universe is governed by Bacon sarnies, many believe that the best is
the cob, so assumiming the cafe is "open", however the bacon and cheese
incineration created by chief chief al la Bardo at Vobster will cause that
to be a limited and "closed" assumption - We're also partial to Bacon
flavored pot rubbish and everyone knows that noodles are typically "flat",
so perhaps;

The time to get to the bottom carpark at Stoney is related to the cafe
opening and production of the first bacon cob, where incineration of Bacon
and cheese pulls from Vobster - but be prepared to offset the early start
with a Bacon pot rubbish, water and a travel kettle.......

Very!

Not much difference really.

Early! About 3 weeks ago, got there about 5.45, and the top car park was
nearly full with cars waiting to get into the bottom car park. We got one
of the last spaces.
Last Saturday we (well, not me - I got there about 8.30 and dumped the stuff
with the other cars) got there probably about 5.30 or so, were a bit further
ahead, but not by much.
I'd say a bit before 6 should just about get you a space now.

Mind, I could tell everyone 8am would get you a space, then I could turn up
at 7.55 :o)

Personally, I still think that priority should be given to cars or minibuses
with loads of kit in - at the minute you'll often see someone fighting for a
space in the bottom car park, then get out, lock the door, and you won't see
them til they're ready to leave - they have their kit in someone else's car.
To me thats just stupid how people have to carry kit down the hill, while
someone with no kit takes up one of the few spaces. Sorry, but thats just
one of my hates of Stoney!

Wowwwwwwwwww! What a question to ask.

How busy? Isn't it usually Diver soup!
Is sat or sun quieter than what?
What time for bottom car park? To be sure of the bottom car park, be there
yesterday.

All weekends are very busy when the water is warmish (>10C) and the weather
reasonable.

I did alot of training in Stoney last winter and I noticed this - once you
get to about December things are alot quieter.

From mid-December to early March I arrived at 7-7:30am an always got a space
at the bottom. From early March to early April I had to arrive a little
earlier - 6:30am. Between early April and mid-December then forget it,
unless you're one of the 3am nutters.

Remember, it's only a 5 min walk, which is better than a 4hour sit in the
car.

Cheers
Matt.

so it was you trying to eat vobster out of bacon on Sunday?

and too anyone else who was there I have to beg forgiveness for the 'glow in
the dark' stars - I didn't know she'd go overboard on them
