I am sure that Frank will correct me on this if I am wrong...

I believe that any such victims and helpers must have the appropriate HSE
medicals and comply fully with the ACoP DaW regulations. It doesn't matter
that you're just "helping a mate", you are assisting in the provision of a
commercial service to paying customers and therefore come under commercial
DaW regulations.

I believe that this particular point was clarified by the HSE in conjunction
with the agencies a year or so back, it was done to stop the "cheap labour"
practice of interns etc. who were being used to provide commercial services
such as dive guiding without having the appropriate commercial safeguards.

I could be wrong on this, all I'm interested in is that UKRS Course #1 is a
roaring success with many more to follow and now would not be a good time to
upset the HSE and place CAS in a possible position of non-compliance!

Regards

Keith L

No problems for me. HSE medical is up to date till next june.
The fact that I smoke 20 a day, and can't run 100 yards without a lung
seizure has nothing to do with it!

Prof lib insurance is constantly ongoing (direct debit is a wonderful
invention).

Well worth commenting on though Keith.

Can we have a home made depth charge competition for the YBOD mob?

I'm *sure* the Navy won't mind.

You want a competition?
Who other, than two YBOD operators, hold legal explosives?
