| Good point about side slung however new divers need to get there weighting right or they start going sideways Robert "dc" <dave.care@blueyonder.co.uk> wrote in message news:8kzrb.408$cb6.3836095@news-text.cableinet.net... > hello > I was thinking about getting a clamp, but if there's a better way could you > please elaborate. > I don't know what how to sling a pony like a stage bottle on your front / > side. > Do you know of any links that illustrates this. > > TIA > Dave > "Bardo" <anon@anon.com> wrote in message > news:bom72a$1dpi5n$1@ID-115313.news.uni-berlin.de... > > > > "Digger" <somogyi@btinternet.com> wrote in message > > news:708d35cd.0311091202.50a46cd0@posting.google.c om... > > > "David Walker" <wbsdavenews@hotmail.com> wrote in message > > news:<bohe1n$hds$1@wisteria.csv.warwick.ac.uk>... > > > <snip> > > > > > > > > Any recommendations? > > > > > > > > David > > > > > > > > > Yes > > > > > > Don't get a clamp. NDiver doesn't seem to have any prices for any of the MetalSub stuff on their website, but everywhere else seems to do it for £65. I agree though, definately looks like a very well made and looks like it'll come off very quickly if it ever needs to. I've asked the shop where i'm buying the pony kit if he can do it for around £50, see what he comes up with. David |

Put a couple of loops of bungee around the tank to stow regs / contents guage. Clip the top of the tank to your shoulder, clip the d ring to your waist, enjoy! | David I sewed a second cam band onto my jacket one. Holds it close and tight and you can use any main or pony that the cam bands will go around. Not everyone likes it but it works well for me. -- All the best TonyL Swindon. UK |

Although I think you can get cheaper ones, the MetalSub's are excellent clamps. I have several and they all work very smoothly, well worth the price. Cheers Matt. |
