Default Kit Rigging

Just got my spangly new Greenforce FII umbilical with the Tristar Head and
was wondering the best place & location to mount the battery back.
Also, where do I lay my hands on a couple of jubilee clips for sideslinging
my 3l?

TIA

Best place I've always found for s/s jubilee clips is a chandler's.
They're usually half the price dive shops charge.

That really depends on the type of kit you dive on, Nige. If you dive on a
wing/backplate/harness combo then you might want to consider mounting the
battery cannister on your right hip by making up a harness 'loop' like the
one I've got on my Greenforce FII Ali battery...

To stop the battery cannister slipping, I simply thread a plastic weight
belt buckle onto the harness webbing. On the Tristar, I've attatched a
simple bolt snap using nylon line which I use to clip off the light head
when I'm not using it...

Hope this helps!

Thats perfect, I do indeed have a backplate & harness & thats exactly what
I'm after.

What do you have underneath the clips to stop them marking the torch?
Also, is it just a piece of webbing to make some sort of loop?

cheers

I use two peices of motorbike innertube underneath the clips and yep - a
small peice of webbing is used to form the loop.
