Default Price for O2 fills

Having finally got round to buying a decant whip can anyone give me an idea
of what they are paying for a 15L O2 fill? So far it's looking like about
£18, that sounds expensive to me.

I'm paying about 25 quid for 45L plus about a fiver
a month rental. Since that means I don't have to
worry about oxygen cleaning or testing the tank it's
not a bad deal.

Wouldn't fancy carrying a J up your stairs though...

£18 for O2
£10 for 'handling'
& £0.18 + VAT a day for rental

one J or in this case L (air products silly lettering) O2 works out at £0.01
a litre if you only get 1 J and keep it all year - works out cheaper the
more you get

and if you get a booster pump and have enough cylinder to decant it into you
can get it down to £0.002 a litre if you only keep the j for a week

I haven't filled a 15 litre, but at the NDC I would be paying £15 for
100% O2 in that size.

£18 sounds like dive shop retail prices for a 15L 180bar O2 fill.

(o2 is rarely up to 200 bar).

Bulk O2 costs is usually at $0.002-3 per liter; but the handling is
expensive; and the tanks are normally rented. Diveshops usually
have 4-6x as high costs with O2 tanks, handling etc. as with the
O2 itself.
