Hi Monika

I booked a liveaboard holiday with Hayes & Jarvis. They booked me onto a
Northern Red Sea itinerary with Diving World at a cost I could afford. I
then got upgraded to a southern itinerary at no extra cost. All run by
Diving World I believe.

I ended up on Sea Serpent and dived Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone. I
thought that the work up dives around Hurghada could have been better and
Elphinstone was a little disappointing because of the close proximity to
Marsa Alam and the fast currents which made for very good drift dives but
not a lot of sea life around at the time. But the week was the best weeks
sport diving I have ever done in a diving career over 30 years. Hammerheads,
Oceanic Whitetips and many more came our way.

We left the boat on the Friday morning of our flight and were given a room
in the hotel where the Sea Serpent was moored. Very luxurious!

Apart from my experience I can say no more.

Eddie

It looks like either you were the lucky ones or Diving World has lately
changed dramatically his bussines attitude and service quality ( if you can
call it any quality today ) . I have booked group of my clients directly
with Diving World for Brothers on luxary new boat Kawarty 2 - it was hell
of expensive but they wanted top market boat. They were supossed to spend
one night at Hurghada on the boat and leave the marina early morning.
Instead of that they were transported for few hours to Marsa Alam where the
whole group ( 18 pax ) refused to enter ....the Karim II boat ( far, far
lower standard ) Finally they landed up in Quasir waiting hours for the
meeting with Diving World representative who did not appeared. Me as travel
agent operating from Poland was trying to get a hold of manager of DW in
London. He was out of reach all the time, when we finally get connection via
other employee he constantly was disconnecting my call.
Finally some of the participants decided to go on . They have got vouchers
for next free trip from Blue Planet representative who was working on DW
behalf- however it is hard to belive that this is any guarantee!!! LAst day
they were supossed to be transported to Mariott hotel in Hurghada, but again
the were left by themleves being informed that they have to spend the last
night on board. I had to fight on the telphone line for an hours to execute
hotel rooms for them.
As of today I have no official statement, Diving World email is not
responding ...

So.. am I the only one beeing treated this way ???
