Invites you to an Illustrated Talk by Martyn Farr
“The Darkness Beckons” Cave diving: its evolution and a wide ranging
overview of this fascinating subject

Martyn Farr is one of the world's most experienced cavers and cave
divers. He is responsible for the discovery of many miles of cave
passage worldwide and is renowned for his prolific writing. He began
cave diving in 1971 and by 1981 had established a world record for
underwater cave penetration in the Bahamas. Martyn has undertaken
worldwide expeditions to such places as Iran, Mexico, Borneo, China and
in recent times he has led expeditions to Ireland, Mallorca, Turkey,
Japan and Brazil. Acclaimed worldwide as a cave and cave diving
photographer, with his work appearing in leading magazines, Martyn has
also helped produce several films for television.

Venue - The Burn Bullock Public House, Cricket Green, Mitcham, Surrey
Date - 28th February 2004, 19:30 onwards
Price - Only £12! (Ticket includes illustrated talk& Finger
buffet).
30% of proceeds will be split and donated to the RNLI &
CRO (Cave Rescue Organisation)
