Default Sea dye emergency locator

Have been chatting directly with the manufacturers of Sea Dye (Presto
Dye in the USA) about getting hold of some in the UK.

They don't have a distributor here but will sell direct- unfortunately
the shipping costs are silly for 1 or 2 units so how about a few of us
clubbing together here? I'll get a load and pop them on Ebay as a
single price, 'buy it now' auction. I reckon about 15 quid a pop would
cover it.

Your comments, as always, would be appreciated.

Manic Grin.

Default Re: Sea dye emergency locator

interesting idea. think similar product was on the market a few years ago.
didn't seem to sell. should imagine it is based on a dye like flouroscein in
a cake form. have used this in the distant past when searchjing for caves.

would be interesting to see if this could be "homemade". dye can be bought
froooom any chemical firm
