| Thank you Mr Sherlock for your comments. Sorry I missed the e-mails I must have been too busy somewhere having a life. I'll try to do better in the future ;) -- ade.gorst@virgin.net www.busterlung.co.uk "Zak" <ntlworld@sharkyyy.com> wrote in message news > > "Alasdair Allan" <aa@ukrecscuba.org.uk> wrote in message > news:bqi2im$1v0ig2$1@ID-188041.news.uni-berlin.de... > > Buster Lung wrote: > > > I had a look at this newsgroup for the first time in weeks tonight. I don't really think the courses fit in with my list of dive spaces. Quite apart from anything else, I'm not entirely convinced they fall into the "non-commercial, share the cost of the dive" that characterises the usual UKRS activities. The boat spaces database is for all dives, not just UKRS ones, but it's only free to non-commercial organisations. Last year Al said he turned down more trips for inclusion on the UKRS list than he accepted. So hopefully those people will take advantage of it. Jason -- See http://www.scuba-addict.co.uk/ to view UK dive spaces or add your own. |

| Alasdair Allan wrote: > This is your final warning. We're moving to an automated system... The new automated system went live about 5 minutes ago. Please go to http://www.scuba-addict.co.uk/boatspaces/add.php to add a trip to the UKRS dives list from now on. The trip will then be put in a "pending" queue. After approval it will then automatically appear on the UKRS Dive List. From then on you can edit the trip details (e.g. number of free spaces) yourself and the Dive List will automatically be updated the next time it is regenerated (at 01:30 every morning). For people looking to get onto UKRS trips, nothing has changed, you should still go to http://www.ukrecscuba.org.uk/ukrsdives/ as normal. Al. |
