| TUE 3:38pm : DIVE ACCIDENT FIRM FACES UNLIMITED FINE A company in charge of a learner diver who drowned after plunging too deep into a lake on a weekend trip was today facing an unlimited fine after admitting breaches of health and safety regulations. Paul Gallacher, 33, was in the Lake District with Leicester-based firm Stoney Cove Marine Trials when he got into difficulty in Wastwater. Despite attempts to rescue him he suffered convulsions after oxygen pressure increased in his blood and drowned as his fellow pupils were taken to the surface, Warwick Crown Court heard. The hearing was adjourned to December 23 for sentencing. http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/ This was in the "Breaking News" section so you might have to wait for the full report thingy to make the pages.
