Default Towns in Menorca

I'm thinking of booking next years holiday in Menorca. Can anyone recommend
a dive operation and name the town?

Thanks

Chris

Based in S'Algar - very close to the airport. Not a very exciting part
of the island though - it's a 100% resort vilage, with a grand total
of 1 bar...

Fairly professional organisation, not cheap though! I don't rate their
dive sites as highly as some seem to, but thats probably because I've
done a lot of (dry) caving.

Had a great time with S'Alger, friendly, and a good efficient set up, but a bit
off the beaten track you will need a hire car, quite reasonable.
Dive highlights were the Barracuda in great numbers.

email me for any other details you require.

Drop Kirsten Francis and Martin Lawrence an email on kirstin_martin2003 'at'
yahoo 'dot' co 'dot' uk. They're ex-Crystal Seas - they live on the island
and may be able to help.

R.

Try ULMO Divers, Port de Addaya, despite the name it's a British outfit in
the more interesting part of the island, the Northeastern side is more rocky
than the South, however I have to conceed the wreck of the molokov is off
Cala Galanda in the south, a fantastic site max depth 42m....inmo.

Malakoff is dived by Bluewater Scuba every Tuesday in the summer season.
For safety reasons cannot be first dive with us as it bottoms at 40ms.
