| Hi As a new diver I did my OWD back in November (immaculate timing, eh?) and my instructor duly sent the paperwork off to PADI. I've since heard nothing. How long should they take to send a card etc back? Thanks |

Gave Mohammed the Riyals, and still waiting for my card! Contacted PADI and it seems he pocketed the money, and left the company.... Bugger.... |

If you did your training in the UK it gets processed by the UK office (which usually take 2-4 weeks) otherwise the EMEA office in Switzerland takes a bit longer (4-6 weeks). I can't guarantee these times but this is what I found when I got my cards Nick |

| With PADI Europ it usually take between 4 and 6 weeks. But i think that with the last holidays it can take 1 or 2 weeks more. It might be worth checking that the instructor who certified you has actually sent off the paperwork - it's not unheard of, you know... |

| On the same topic, anybody know how long TDI take to send out cards? I took a TDI course in Sharm about 3 weeks ago, was wondering when they'd send me my card?! Scubatricky |

TDI don't send their cards out directly to divers so I would assume your card will be sent via the dive centre you trained with in Sharm. Nick |

That's not always true. TDI (UK) sent both of my cards directly to me. May be this also depends on where you trained & who with? Cheers Matt. |

The best way to find out is to ask TDI, or PADI. They can, at least, verify that information has been received and is in process. If the card, or information, has been lost, as sometimes happens, they can also help resolve the problem. Lee |
