Which in "Dutch" Dutch would be: "I need to take a crap". While in
"Flemish" Dutch it'd be: "I need to f**k".

Details. Same wording, different meaning. Might create some confusion.

I will never forget sitting on a boat having to translate from Glaswegian to
West country, they could both understand me, watching them trying to
communicate direct has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen

Yes, exactly the same. Open a decent dictionary and you'll find BOTH
meanings.

PS: Dacht ik nou dat jij aardig was (Noord-nederlands), blijkt dat ik
gelijk had ook ;) (Zuid-Nederlands)
