Default UKRS Vobster, this Saturday

I'm not organising an inland trip, but Al is and can't post at the moment.
The weather forecast for the weekend is nice and mild, so Al's decided to
organise a trip to Vobster, nr Frome.

Not sure of the start time, but assume it's something sociable, say
10.30am. I should hopefully make it if my sore throat doesn't develop into
anything.

Well I did take a couple of Sudafed but didn't really need them. We had
quite a nice dive. I rolled up at 10am, got in the carpark down the bottom
and had a bacon roll before getting in.

The viz near the surface was excellent. About 10m by the wall. As we were
coming up, I could see the flag from about 6m down. It was less good in
places at depth where it had been kicked up. One place was almost
completely silted out down at about 25m. The viz has definitely improved
since last year. The silt is now resettling nearer the bottom.

I can't really understand why there weren't more people there when you
think how many people get up at the crack of dawn to go to Stoney.

It was a bit chilly though. Anyone know a UK supplier of two fingered
mitts which the Scandanavians use?
