The diving was spot on, though we did geta bit reefed-out by the end of the week, there's only so many hammerheads, mantas, oceanic white tips, grey reef sharks you can take ;o) It proved be an excellent boat - 2 ribs as chase boats, 1 of which was always on station for pickups. The guides didn't insist on you diving with them, infact, they often sat out dives as most days were a 40, 30 & 10-15m dive days.A selection of 12 + 15L Al & steel bottles, excellent food, beds, not bunks & the icing on the cake was the thick bath robes in every cabin - perfect for puting on after a dive when the cool wind chilled you a bit. hth clive |

| Snip I was on this boat last July, doing Southern and Northern wrecks - Marsa Alam start and Sharm finish. Yes, the boat was really comfy, and the guides were cool - Ali Baba is stone deaf from birth, but he can lip-read in 4 languages so mind what you say. His oppo whose name I forget could summon sharks up by crinkling a plastic drinks bottle. Food was nice, but (and its a big but) 10 out of 12 of us were ill with severe headache, vomitting and/or the runs. Nearly everyone missed at least 1 day's diving because of it, and some of the less stalwart missed half the week. The crew were well-versed in where the medication was kept, so I don't think this was unusual. So take the Immodium with you! Jen |
