I live on a lake and, I suppose I could try it out there if I were careful. I'd hate to have to freedive to get my gear back out of the mud just beyond the drop off. It's a man made lake. The fact is, I just haven't gotten around to it. It's not a real high priority. I own and like my equipment and I'm not likely to change much not matter what. On the other hand, I ought to know. > >Just out of curiosity, how many divers that have streamlined their equipment > >as much as possible, are about as unsure about whether their BCD will > >support it if it's released? > > With 18lb you might be pushing it. I suspect you're right about pushing it, particularly with full hp steel 100's. We'll see . . . when the water gets warmer. Lee |

Isn't that what reels or rope was made for? I would think that, unless the bouyancy was far off, almost any SMB reel or spool line would be enough in calm water. -- >replace spamblock with my family name to e-mail me |
