Default Rescue Diver report...

Hot off the presses - the first copy of the report!

There will be things added to it as I remember them and photos, links and
dive profiles added when I get round to developing, finding and uploading as
appropriate.

So here it is -
http://divesite.calumscott.me.uk/ukr.../completed.htm

Cheers

The highlight for me...

Upon seeing Sish sitting on the side with what appeared to be red-brown foam
coming out of his nose..

Me: Bliemy, are you alright mate?
Sish : Yeah, its probably chocolate

Interesting reading, sounds like you guys had a top time! I've got my first
UK dive (Gildenburg) setup for a couple of weeks time, out in the cold goes
poor lil me, looking forward to getting used to the cold (do you ever!) and
getting on a similar course, sounds excellent.

Gav.

Interesting time there, I did my EFR before the swimming bits, just a lot of
rehashing what I learnt through Cadets for 5 years, minus all the gunshot
wounds of course.....

Unfortunately Jan's schedule wouldn't have worked with the EFR first.
Anyway it gives us all a real impetus to get back there and get it done
because if we don't, we don't get our RD Cards!!!

Are the gunshot wounds included in the American EFR, do you think...

My highlights:

Upon seeing the face of the victim Callum had just lifted...
Me: Are *REALLY* OK?
Andark instructor: Yeah, but I think you're the wrong group!

Upon practising paniced diver...
Jan: Are you ready?
Callum: Come and have a go if you think you're hard enuff!

Upon waiting to demonstrate skills...
Having my mask ripped off and thinking no problem - I'll go for my spare...
Which - is in my kitbag!

I don't think he found it quite so amusing 2nd time round...

Which was made even funnier by the fact that he actually took it out on
*you*!

And me actually feeling slightly guilty about having to swipe your alternate
while you were putting your mask back on when some bugger turned my cyl
off... odd feeling "Oh shit! I'm underwater with no air... but my poor
buddy still doesn't have a mask on...", *weird*!

Why not dive in a sand pit? The viz will be better
