| Right, I'm busting this gaff and heading off for a week's liveaboard diving in the Red Sea mid-February. As a result, I need some nice cheap travel insurance that will cover me to dive to 30m (or greater, if available!). Regaldive (who I've booked through) are quoting me £27 for the week - anyone know of any better deals? Cheers in advance! |

What does it cover, exactly? Couldn't tell you exact details ferret - all I know is that it's Regal's standard travel insurance (1 week) with diving cover to 30m. Got a damned good deal on the Liveaboard too - Golden One from Hurghada leaving on the 13th. 'Red Sea Wrecks' itinery (ie. all the greats - Ghianis D, Thistlegorm, Rosalie Moller, Carnatic etc) for £599. Sounded like a good deal to me anyway! If any other UKRS'ers are interested, there are still 4 places available, apparently! |

I saw one last year that covered you to 30m but only when diving with an instructor |

Also offer group discounts (not relevant for you, I know). David |

I just looked and I got 31m. I have a picture of the prop that implies I was pretty near on the sand when I took it. Try and do the 'tile wreck'. The one that used to be refered to as the Cristola K until somebody noticed it was the wrong size with the wrong cargo. The next one east from the Carnatic at Sha'ab Abu Nuhas. Fantastic, easy penetration down the central companion way past a room full of generators down to an intact engine room. It is 20 to 30m inside from open water but well worth it. You won't see brass work like that in UK waters. The top of the companion way is normally marked by a huge ball of glass fish. nigelH |

As a note did anyone ever find an archive of the original web page? Danny -- The box said windows 98 or better, so I installed Linux Header is false, correct is Danny at danshome dot org |
